Course Catalogue - Course Dates and Categories

With the course catalogue, participants actively enrol in the course. You can also define mandatory courses in which participants are already enrolled after they have visited the platform for the first time. The course catalog offers meta data of the course and a link to the page where the course is finished. The catalog can be displayed in different views:

• Selected courses
• Course categories
• Course categories and courses
• All courses

By grouping participants, you can control who can see which course, who can register for it, or who is already registered.

The Date of Enrolment is used to send notifications (Welcome, Finish your course) and to release chapters (one chapter per week).

Question Catalogue - Tests and Self-Tests

In LMS3, questions can be stored in categories and provided with different points, feedback and notes. Currently the following question types are available:

• Single Choice / Multiple Choice
• Fill gap (text input)
• Filling the gap (Drag&Drop terms)
• Fill gap (select term on drop-down)
• Assignment of terms (Drag&Drop)
• Ranking (Drag&Drop)

From these questions you can compile tests, either a certain number at random from a category or fixed questions. Upon successful completion, the participant receives credits on the basis of which, for example, a certificate or a follow-up chapter can be released.

Access control - lessons and contents

The access control for lessons and content is a central component of LMS3. With the help of these options, entire courses can be pre-defined in the workflow. You can release or withdraw pages and content according to the following criteria:

• At a fixed date (TYPO3 basic function)
• After x days of enrolment in a course (for example, you want to release a chapter every week)
• After achieving credits in a course (e.g. release of a certificate after a passed test)
• After reaching credits in a course category (e.g. release of a certificate after completion of a course series)
• By group or company affiliation

You can time limit entire courses so that they are only available a certain time after enrolment.

Course notification - From the welcome to the end of the course

You can define different e-mails  which are sent under certain criteria for all participants of a course.

• After x days of enrolment (directly as a welcome greeting or after one week when you release a new lesson.
• From/to x credits in a course: (e.g. congratulate on passing the test and refer to the released certificate)
• On a specified date (e.g. indicate an upcoming attendance event)
• If a certain amount of credits is not reached on a specified date. (e.g. Please complete the course within four weeks)
• After x days without login and if a certain amount of credits is not reached. (e.g. your course is waiting, please come back)

So you can respond to any status or set a schedule for the course and communicate.

Cross-course you can define further e-mails:

• From/to x credits in one course category or over all courses
• At a set date
• After x days without login (we will delete your account soon)

Allocate credits, Reset participants

You have a mixed course, i.e. online parts and classroom sessions? Then you can make the release of chapters in the online course dependent on attendance at classroom sessions. For this purpose, there is a module for trainers in which they can actively allocate credits to participants. A scenario could then look like this:

• user can edit chapter 1
• Chapter 2 is only available after reaching 10 credits in the course
• Chapter 2 is unlocked and at the same time the user is notified by e-mail.

Recurring course participation

You have a course that has to be taken once a year? Then you can reset the participant:

• course attempts
• Page visits
• Check out of the course

Our PDF Viewer with browsing and search function. You can add versions with comments & attachments. So you can display PDF's online and build up complete documentations.

Coming Soon: Bookmarks & Notes

Users can set bookmarks in the courses and store notes. The bookmarks are displayed in a list sorted by courses.

Course access by Password or Purchase

You can restrict the course access. On the one hand by using the Shop Module (additional module). In this case, the user will be enrolled in the course/s after the payment process.

Remote you can define a password for the course. Users who want to enroll in the course must enter the password. In this way you can display the courses in the catalog without a shop but limit the enrollment.

Learning course & Reporting for participants and trainers

The reporting for participants includes an overview of the tests and the achieved credits. The reports for trainers provide an overview of all participants and their performance in the course:

• Test Status (Passed, failed, not started)
• number of trials in the test
• date of the passed test
• Processing status in course (% of pages visited)

With it you can check the success of your e-learning.

E-Learning Toolbox with H5P

E-Learning courses should be animating and use the strengths of the Internet. Therefore, a toolbox based on the H5P frameworks is at your disposal with numerous interactivities, such as presentations, interactive videos and graphics, question types, games, etc.

Certificates on the Basis of Different Performances in the Course

In the editorial office you can have different texts and user data appear on a background graphic. The alignment, colour and font can be defined individually. You can test the positioning via a preview function.

Once you have defined the positions of the texts, you can add further certificates as a copy on this basis (e.g. with a different background image). The generated PDFs contain these texts/data:

• text 1-3 (freely selectable)
• prefix of the date (e.g. Hamburg, den)
• date (the date of issue)
• Verification code (can be verified in the editorial office)

The certificate can be released on the basis of credits (passed test(s) or other criteria).

With this plugin you can address your users flexibly. Different variations are possible:
